House Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
House manager is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the individuals with developmental disabilities. The House Manager ensures that all staff are providing services listed in each person’s ISP and accurately documenting said information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managers are responsible for proper documentation of services provided including: scheduling doctors’ appointments and follow up measures, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, keep house clean and maintained, administering medication, re-ordering medication to ensure no outages, training new staff and in-servicing all staff on ISP/ BSP or other pertinent changes that they need to be made aware of.
Managers must attend annual ISP, manager meetings & emergency team meetings.
Money management of individuals funds.
Must be able to come up with out of the box strategies for de- escalating issues when they arise for both individuals served and staff.
Managers are required to give corrective actions to staff who are failing to complete job responsibilities.
As a manager, you must have good organizational & communication skills. Must be dependable, caring, a team player, understand how to resolve conflicts amicably.
Manager must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license with less than 6 pts and valid car insurance.
Must have experience dealing with MUI/UI's and proper reporting processes. Must alert office administration of any changes in individuals behavior, medication etc.
As a manager, you are on call for emergency situations.
Requirements include at least two years’ experience in management or supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities or have at least an Associate’s Degree, must have high school diploma or the equivalent. Must be able to pass a background & drug test.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license; Safe driving record (less than 6 pts.)
Reliable transportation and automobile insurance
Criminal background check that meet agency and state standards
Willing to work various shifts
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant experience working with individuals with disabilities (1 year)
Experience as a caregiver (1 year)
Experience as a Direct Support Professional (1year)
SALARY
$17.00 per hour
